Headaches are pain in the cranium that can range from mild to severe. Most often, this pain is described as similar to a tight band around the head. Headaches can be cause by poor sleep, bad posture, or muscle pain originating in other areas.
The first line of treatment is typically over-the-counter pain medication or ice. If the pain continues, it can be treated with physical therapy and prescription medications. In some rare cases, the issue can be treated with injections in the neck.
